Well, he sees his Mom taking pictures often enough! I love these because they show the relationship between my kids, too--they adore each other!

Indoor photography=high ISO or low shutter speed=noise or blur. Ah well, I was trying to capture the moment more that the perfect image in most of these!

Beach vacation, part 1

We just returned from a week at beautiful Wrightsville Beach, NC. It's going to take me a month to get all of these pictures up!

My cutie-pie. I've been playing more with black and white conversions lately. A quick commercial: Paint Shop Pro X does, as far as I can tell, everything that Photoshop does, for 1/6 the price!

Storyboard/Collage

This is the first time I've tried one of these. Unfortunately, the memory on my computer doesn't seem to be able to handle processing these pictures when they're full-size as I attempted to copy and paste them into the storyboard (everything ground to a halt), so this looks teeny--click on it and it'll get bigger!

New lens!

I got a new lens, 50mm 2.0, and I love, love, LOVE it! It was well worth the money! Being able to go down to 2.0 in aperature gives me so much more latitude with shutter speed and I'm getting crisper pictures. And the macro aspect of it ROCKS!
