New red backdrop, and my kids!

I just got this beautiful new backdrop and I wanted to show it off! This will be great for Fall and Christmas sessions, for those who want a studio session (on-location at your home, as always!) for their portraits. And aren't they little hams? ;)

Family session, 4 generations

It's always fun to photograph multiple generations and give them that classic family portrait! The day we did these portraits was one of those smokey days we've had in this area recently due to the Dismal Swamp wildfires and then rumbles of thunder started after we'd been going for awhile, too, but we managed to beat the weather for most of the session, then went inside for the last few. And isn't this little girl adorable? :)

6 months old!

Remember this little guy? http://photographymom.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html (Christmas baby). He's 6 months old now and so adorable! I had the pleasure of photographing him and his family again recently. Love those smiles!
